Ingredients

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter (113 grams, 4 oz)

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (170 grams, 6 oz)

– 1/2 cup sugar (100 grams, 3.5 oz)

– 1/4 cup brown sugar (50 grams, 1.75 oz)

– 3 eggs at room temperature

– 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

– 2/3 cup all-purpose flour (85 grams, 3 oz)

– 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (170 grams, 6 oz)

– 1 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (226 grams or 8 oz)

– Up to 1/2 cup chopped cashews (optional)

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350ΒΊF and prepare pan. Grease an 8Γ—8 inch or 9Γ—9 inch baking dish with butter and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2-Melt butter and chocolate until smooth. Melt the unsalted butter and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips together until smooth, creating a glossy base for your batter.

3-Whisk in sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add in both sugars and whisk until everything blends perfectly, then incorporate the eggs one at a time for a rich texture.

4-Sift and add dry ingredients. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt before mixing them into the batter.

5-Stir in chocolate chips and layer batter. Stir in the extra chocolate chips for those gooey pockets. Layer half the batter in the pan, add spoonfuls of chocolate-hazelnut spread, and top with the rest before baking.

6-Bake for 25-30 minutes and cool. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let it cool, and you’ll have a batch ready to enjoy.
