  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 package (4 count) of finely sliced frozen steaks

1 green bell pepper, cut into strips

½ yellow onion, cut into strips

1½ teaspoons of preferred steak seasoning

1 (19 ounce) package of frozen cheese tortellini

1 pint of heavy cream

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

1-Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.

2-Place the 1 package (4 count) of finely sliced frozen steaks on one side of the pan and the 1 green bell pepper cut into strips and ½ yellow onion cut into strips on the other side.

3-Sprinkle 1½ teaspoons of preferred steak seasoning on both the steaks and veggies.

4-Cook the steaks according to their package instructions; by then, the peppers and onions will be crisp-tender.

5-Stir the steaks and vegetables together in the pan.

6-Add the 1 (19 ounce) package of frozen cheese tortellini and 1 pint of heavy cream to the pan, then bring it to a boil.

7-Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.

8-Once the tortellini is cooked through, sprinkle 1 cup shredded provolone cheese on top, cover again just until the cheese melts.

9-Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

🍖 Use leftover roast beef or thinly sliced steaks to skip initial cooking step.
⏳ Reduce cooking time if using fresh tortellini; ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
🥛 Substitute half and half for heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
🌶️ Add crushed red pepper flakes for a subtle spicy kick.
🥘 Sauté peppers and onions before adding steak if you prefer them softer.
