๐ŸŒถ๏ธ This Cranberry Jalapeno Cream Cheese Dip Recipe delivers a refreshing and spicy flavor perfect for holiday gatherings and parties.
๐Ÿง€ The creamy texture combined with zesty cranberries and jalapenos makes it an irresistible snack to serve with crackers.

  • Total Time: 5 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

– 12 ounces fresh cranberries

– 4-5 green onions, chopped

– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

– 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced

– 1 cup sugar, more or less to taste

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

– 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, light or regular, softened

– Crackers for serving

Instructions

1-Pulse the cranberries in a food processor or blender until coarsely chopped. This helps release their tart flavors and creates the base of the dip.

2-Add green onions, cilantro, jalapeno, sugar, cumin, lemon juice, and salt; pulse until well combined and finely chopped for a smooth mixture.

3-Transfer the mixture to a covered container and refrigerate for 4 hours or up to overnight. This step lets the flavors meld and develop, making the dip even better.

4-When ready to serve, spread softened cream cheese evenly on a serving plate or pie dish.

5-Top evenly with the cranberry-jalapeno mixture.

6-Refrigerate for up to an hour before serving to keep it chilled and fresh.

7-Serve with crackers for a tasty appetizer.

Notes

๐Ÿ‹ Use fresh cranberries, jalapenos, cilantro, and lime juice for best flavor.
๐Ÿฝ Prepare the cranberry mixture several hours ahead and drain excess liquid for better texture.
๐Ÿฅ„ Whipped cream cheese can be used for easier spreading and a lighter texture.
