Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries

1 large tart green apple

1 large orange

1 large red apple

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 large (6-ounce) box raspberry-flavored gelatin

2 cups water

1 cup sugar

Instructions

1-Zest the orange, then peel it and liquefy the peeled orange in a food processor.

2-Chop the cranberries, tart green apple, and red apple in the food processor.

3-Add the chopped fruits, liquefied orange, and orange zest to a large bowl, then stir in the chopped nuts.

4-Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

5-Whisk the raspberry-flavored gelatin into the slightly cooled sugar water mixture until dissolved.

6-Pour the gelatin mixture over the fruit and nut mixture in the bowl and stir well to combine.

7-Refrigerate the salad overnight to let it set properly.
