Ingredients
– 2 thin slices baked leg ham
– 4 large, thin slices Mojo Marinated Pork
– 2 pieces white baguettes, 6 inches (15 cm) each, cut in half
– Melted butter for brushing
– American mustard (quantity as needed)
– 2 thin slices Swiss cheese
– 2 or 3 dill pickles, thinly sliced
Instructions
1-Start by heating a skillet over medium heat and cook the 2 thin slices of baked leg ham and 4 large, thin slices of Mojo Marinated Pork until they’re slightly browned on each side, then set them aside.
2-Next, brush the cut sides of the 2 pieces of white baguettes (each 6 inches or 15 cm, cut in half) with melted butter and toast them cut side down in the same skillet for 2 minutes until lightly browned.
3-Remove the baguettes and place them on a work surface. Layer the bottom halves with the pork, ham, 2 thin slices of Swiss cheese, and 2 or 3 thinly sliced dill pickles, adjusting the layers to fit neatly.
4-Spread American mustard (as needed) on the top halves of the baguettes and place them on the layered bottoms to form the sandwiches.
5-Brush the outside of both the top and bottom baguette pieces with more melted butter.
6-Heat the skillet over medium-high heat, place the sandwiches inside, cover with baking paper, and compress them using a heavy skillet or pot. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown, crispy, and the cheese is melted.
7-Finally, let the sandwiches rest for 1 minute before cutting them in half and serving immediately.
