πŸͺ These cookies are easy to make, sturdy for packaging, and perfect for sharing at parties or bake sales.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 36 cookies

Ingredients

– 1 small package of chocolate Easter eggs in a candy shell

– 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature

– 1 cup sugar

– 1 egg

– 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

– 2 cups flour

– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 2 tablespoons milk

– Extra sugar for rolling the dough

Instructions

1- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until it’s light and fluffy, which helps create that perfect cookie texture.

2- Beat in the egg one at a time, then stir in the vanilla to blend everything smoothly and add that warm flavor.

3- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt to ensure they’re well combined.

4- Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, alternating between them until you have a soft dough ready to shape.

5- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

6- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls, roll them in extra sugar for a sweet crunch, and place them on the cookie sheet without pressing down.

7- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly browned, then remove and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes.

8- Press 3 small chocolate Easter eggs into the center of each cookie while they’re still warm, and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
