πŸ”₯ These crispy fried jalapeno slices are easy to prepare and offer a deliciously crunchy texture that everyone will savor.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: About 3 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 fresh jalapeno peppers sliced into rings

Β½ cup all-purpose flour

Β½ teaspoon garlic powder

Β½ teaspoon paprika

salt to taste

pepper to taste

2 large eggs

4 ounces light beer for batter liquid

2 to 3 cups peanut or vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1-First, heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat, ensuring it reaches the right temperature without boiling to avoid splatters.

2-In a large bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then mix well to create a seasoned base.

3-Add the eggs and beat the mixture into a batter, stirring until it’s smooth and well-blended.

4-Stir in the beer or soda until fully blended, creating a light and airy coating for the jalapenos.

5-Coat the sliced jalapenos in the batter in batches, making sure each ring is fully covered for even frying.

6-Fry each batch for 5 to 6 minutes, turning the slices as needed until they are golden and crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.

7-Lightly salt the fried jalapenos while they’re still hot for extra flavor, and serve immediately for the best taste.
