Ingredients

– 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut horizontally to create 6 thin halves)

– Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)

– 2 eggs

– 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 3 tablespoons oil

– 24 ounces marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– Fresh chopped basil for garnish

– Cooked spaghetti noodles for serving

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 450Β°F and prepare your workspace by seasoning the chicken halves with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2-Bread the chicken by dipping each half in beaten eggs, then coating it in a mixture of breadcrumbs, ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese, and the remaining garlic powder.

3-Brown the breaded chicken in 3 tablespoons of oil for 2 minutes per side to get a golden crunch.
