🥐 Experience the delight of a flaky crescent dough packed with savory Philly cheesesteak flavors, perfect for sharing at any gathering.
🧀 This easy-to-make crescent ring combines tender roast beef, sautéed veggies, and melty provolone cheese for irresistible party snacks.

  • Total Time: 37 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– Two 8-ounce (about 226 grams each) packages of crescent roll dough, unrolled and separated

– Two tablespoons (about 28 grams) of unsalted butter

– Half of a white onion, diced small

– Half of a green bell pepper, diced small

– Half a pound (about 225 grams) of thinly sliced deli roast beef

– Eight ounces (about 227 grams) of provolone cheese, sliced

Instructions

1-First Steps: Preheat and Prep: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to keep things simple and mess-free. Melt two tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add half of a white onion, diced small, and half of a green bell pepper, diced small. Sauté them until soft, which takes about 5 to 7 minutes, to build that flavorful base.

2-Assembling the Ring: Once your veggies are ready, arrange the two 8-ounce packages of crescent roll dough into a ring on the parchment paper. Layer half a pound of thinly sliced deli roast beef over the dough, followed by the sautéed onions and peppers. Top it all with eight ounces of sliced provolone cheese for that melty goodness.

3-Baking and Serving: Fold the crescent dough over the cheese and tuck the edges toward the ring’s inside to seal it up. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dough turns golden brown. Slice it with a pizza cutter and serve warm it’s ideal as a game day appetizer or easy weeknight dinner. For pre-cooked beef swaps like minute steaks, just mix them in with the veggies for a quick variation.
