Instructions

2-Place the sealed can in a slow cooker that is at least 4 quarts in size.
3-Add enough water to the slow cooker to fully cover the can by at least 1/2 inch.
4-Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
5-After cooking, turn off the slow cooker and allow the can to cool to room temperature inside the cooker for several hours or overnight.
6-Once cooled, remove the can, dry it off, and open it with a can opener to use the dulce de leche.
