1 1/2 tsp onion powder

1 1/2 to 2 tbsp olive oil
Chicken stock or broth (or water) to top up liquid to 2 cups (about 475 ml)
4 tbsp (50 g) butter
1/4 cup (35 g) flour
Salt and pepper to taste

2-Coat the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry and coat it thoroughly on all sides for maximum taste.
3-Prepare the slow cooker: Place the garlic, onion, and thyme at the bottom of the slow cooker to lift the turkey and promote even cooking.
4-Cook the turkey: Set the turkey on top and cook on low for about 5-6 hours, checking the internal temperature at 5 hours to reach 165ยฐF (75ยฐC).
5-Rest and broil: Once done, remove the turkey and let it rest for 20 minutes before broiling the skin for 3-5 minutes to get it crispy.
6-Prepare the gravy: Strain the juices from the slow cooker and add stock if needed to reach 2 cups. Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the flour to make a paste, and slowly whisk in the liquid until it thickens. Season to taste and serve alongside sliced turkey.
