๐ŸŽ‚ These Birthday Cake Pops bring the delicious, festive flavor of a birthday cake into a fun, bite-sized treat.
๐Ÿญ Perfect for parties or gifting, they combine moist vanilla cake with a smooth candy coating that’s as delightful as it looks.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cake pops

Ingredients

– 1 box vanilla cake mix with the ingredients required on the box

– 1/4 cup powdered sugar (27 grams)

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 12 ounces light pink color melts (can substitute with another color for variation)

– White nonpareils sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1-First, prepare and bake the vanilla cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Right after baking, transfer the hot cake into the bowl of a stand mixer to help it bind together easily.

2-Next, add 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract to the warm cake, then mix on low speed until a dough forms. Shape the dough into balls and place them on a cookie sheet to freeze and chill.

3-After that, melt the 12 ounces light pink color melts until smooth. Dip each lollipop stick into the melted candy and insert it into the center of each chilled cake ball.

4-Let the sticks set in the refrigerator or freezer. Then, dip each cake pop into the melted candy, shake off excess, and add sprinkles if you like. Let them dry upright using a foam block or similar support.
