๐Ÿ“ Light and airy strawberry mousse made with fresh berries and simple, wholesome ingredients.
๐Ÿฅ„ A quick and elegant dessert that’s perfect for any occasion and easy to prepare in just minutes.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

12ยฝ ounces of strawberries for natural sweetness and vibrant color

ยฝ cup granulated sugar for enhancing flavor

1 cup of cold cream (whole, heavy, or whipping cream with at least 30% fat content) for fluffy texture

Instructions

1-Getting started with this strawberry mousse is as easy as it gets. Begin by cleaning and slicing the 12ยฝ ounces of strawberries, then puree them with the ยฝ cup of granulated sugar in a blender or food processor. This step pulls out the fresh flavors and creates a smooth base for your dessert.

2-Set aside half a cup of the strawberry puree for later. In a cold bowl, whip the 1 cup of cold cream until stiff peaks form, which gives that light, airy feel. Gently fold in the remaining strawberry puree to mix everything without deflating the cream.

3-Divide the reserved half cup of puree among 4 small to medium glasses, then top each with the mousse mixture. Pop them in the fridge for about one hour or longer to set. Just before serving, garnish with extra fresh sliced strawberries for a nice touch.

4-Wash and hull the strawberries, then puree with sugar.

5-Whip the cream in a chilled bowl until stiff.

6-Fold in the puree and layer into glasses.

7-Chill for at least an hour.

8-Garnish and serve fresh.

โ„๏ธ Tip: Use fresh whipping cream instead of frozen cream products for best texture.
โณ Tip: Store mousse refrigerated overnight; avoid leaving it out more than 1-2 hours for safety.
